About Home on the Range

More than 40 years ago, the Corona Family moved their farming operation from a small town called Cucamonga to what was then another “small town” of a little over 200 people called Temecula. The family had farmed in California since the early 1920’s and continues to do so with their variety of crops on 160 acres of land which has not become a town that is no longer small.

A little over 22 years ago, the family added a feed and old-fashioned Mercantile store called “Big Horse Feed and Mercantile which sits on the very corner of the property in a former packing house building. Over the years, Big Horse has provided not only animal feed but the interior is filled with rustic and western lifestyle products and home furnishings that give the flavor of the wide open spaces and heritage the West was built upon.

Visitors from all over the country and the world have visited to end up saying the same thing. “Big Horse Feed and Mercantile is MORE than just a feed store.” 

With unique and one of a kind items in home décor and furnishings, many customers began to inquire about having design services for their own homes. Big Horse gladly complied and now offers home decorating and renovation services under a new brand called “Home on the Range” Design Services. Be it a big or small project, “Home on the Range” can provide a hint of the western and rustic lifestyle without the client having to actually live the life of the pioneers of centuries ago.
